Sazabi WIP 12

The LED's in the cockpit and eye were pretty easy to connect but  have to connect the other two LED in the "helmet" and they gave me real hard time because of the tight space between te (moving)parts

After alot of masking it's time to paint the inside of the head.I wanted the panels in a two-tone color(black and grey). Since the primer was allready great i thought let's leave it that way.So I only have to paint the blacklines(not masked)

Halfway there, masked all the grey panals

Sprayed the whole head(helmet) red (tamiya X-7),and masked it.
Okay...I wasn't very happy with the end result. The grey was way to light and didn't matched the rest of the colors. So I choosed a much darker grey and did it all over.

This is how it turns out.Did some minor shading in the panels.

Sazabi WIP 10

Now it's time work on Sazabi's head, not too many parts but it's stuffed with electronics. So again I hope it will al fit.
Installed the two servo-moters,the only thing I'll have to do is connect the 4 LED's and wire everything.

Sazabi WIP 8

Airbrush...handpaint...airbrush... topcoat.....airbrush...handpaint...and airbruhzzz .....zzzzz  zzzz
Okay here some piczz..zzzz

Now the really hard part almost finished painting all the parts of the base. It's time to wire this fellow..
Studied the electric diagram for a while and it looks pretty simple because every thing is numbered and colored. So it shouldn't be that difficult. The thing that I'm most concerned about is how to fit all the wires in the model.

Okay let get started...got myself a new soldering iron for this model.
(Btw I have never build a gundammodel with so many electric parts so finger crossed)

At this moment I was really worried if it will fit together...

When soldering i proteced the model with aluminiumfoil. Just in case...

After one hour of soldering I finally got it ready

And yes it fits!!!...but will it work..can't answer that yet....

 And some details!
